Here Comes Heaven

Verse 1:

Children weep no more, hope is on the horizon

Weary world behold, your promised Messiah

Verse 2:

Sinner wait no more, love has broken the silence

Come let us adore, the Savior is with us

Verse 3:

Over all who mourn, breaks the dawn of salvation

Darkness reigns no more, for Jesus is greater

He is greater

Chorus 1:

Angels let your song begin

Here comes heaven

Christ is born in Bethlehem

Here comes heaven

Here comes heaven

Now behold His glory, glory in the highest

All the earth rejoice for Christ is born

Chorus 2:

Angels let your song begin

Here comes heaven

All creation worship Him

Here comes heaven

Here comes heaven

Oh yea, here comes heaven! What comes to your mind when you think of heaven? For me, its perfect peace, no suffering, no pain, full of joy, being in the presence of Jesus, and worshiping Him with songs of praise. Heaven is life the way it was meant to be.

But, Alas, God has given us humans the ability to make our own choices, and our choices have doomed us, beginning with Adam and Eve. Sin has separated us from God. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear - Isaiah 59:2. However, in spite of sin we are all God's children. Children who, because of our choices, weep and mourn from all the surrounding darkness. Darkness, that at times, is so heavy that we feel we will collapse under the weight.

The song states we live in a weary world. What is 'weary?' Weary is exhausted in strength and endurance. It is heavy, leaden, numbing, and tiresome. When you look at the direction in which this world is heading, it's very obvious how people see no hope on the horizon. Our hope is gone. Our joy is gone. All we see is hate, pain, and suffering.

Hate, pain, and suffering? Well, just sing the rest of the song. Here comes heaven! Here comes King Jesus! Children weep no more. Sinners wait no more. The dawn of salvation breaks. His light overcomes all the darkness. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. - Revelation 21:4. Oh people! Jesus brought the demonstration of heaven down to earth for us all! He teaches us how to experience it now. Now, in the midst of all the lost hope, all the pain, suffering, and darkness of this world.

As Christians, we are living in the 'now' and the 'not yet.' We know who Jesus is and we follow His teachings. We have the same power He had while He walked on this earth. Power to get us through the darkness, power to overcome sickness, power to take us through persecution, and power that gives us a peace, joy, and hope that is impossible to experience without Him. This is the 'now' part. The 'not yet' part is when we will see Him face to face. We do not lost heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. - Luke 21:33. As Christians, we see the Hope that is Jesus and we are to tell everyone of this great news. Great news of the true meaning of Christmas.

Here Comes Heaven!

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! - 2 Corinthians 9:15.

Merry Christmas!
