About me

I am not, but I know I AM

“Wealth and honor come from God; he is the ruler of all things. In his hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.” - 1 Chronicles 29:12

Who I am as a Christian:

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes - Romans 1:16

The Spirit God gave me does not make me timid, but gives me power, love and self-discipline - 2 Timothy 1:7

I am to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one I am an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life - 2 Corinthians 2:15-16

I do not lose heart. Though my outer self is wasting away, my inner self is being renewed day by day. For my light and momentary troubles are achieving for me an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So I fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I live by faith and not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7

I have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God - 1 Peter 1:23

Mom’s hand over mine on her Bible

Mom was blessed with another birthday on November 5. She is now 87 years old. In August 2018 she had a stroke, which took away her independence. This has been very hard for her, but she continues to improve slowly.

She is very special in that she created in me the biggest drug problem I ever had.....

she drug me to church every Sunday morning, every Sunday night, and every Wednesday night. I have come to realize this as the greatest, most special gift she could have ever given me. Thanks Mom! I love you very much!

My Life

'Running Out Of Time' is a book about how a life is changed when that life is turned over to Jesus. It is a great example of what can occur when someone finally recognizes and acknowledges the reality of God's presence.

It shows how God can take bad decisions and turn them into good, how a self-centered, no me, mentality is transformed to become a servant for Christ, and how blessings from being the hands and feet of Jesus far outweigh the choice to say "no".
