Jesus is the Cure. You may ask, "The cure for what?" Jesus is the Cure for everything.
Walking through life with Jesus will bring you peace in times of fear, joy in times of sadness, love in times of hatred, acceptance in times of rejection, hope when there's no way out, and healing in times of sickness.
Yes, He is the Cure for it all.
If you think this sounds too good to be true, you are so wrong. Jesus will totally change your life.
"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8).
"A healthy awe of our Creator calms our minds and becomes the lens through which everything else is made clear. In worship, our only hope is in being filled with the Spirit of the Lord, who will guide us into the right behavior. And the behavior will be an expression of true worship. It will be passionate, untamed, and unrestrained. It will defy our expectations, but it will be true. No hypocrisy and no vanity. And the God of truth will love it!"
My devotions are meant to get you to not just sing the song, but meditate on the meaning of the words. To feed your soul, increasing your faith and trust in the One who holds everything in the palm of His hands.

“Wealth and honor come from God; he is the ruler of all things. In his hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.” - 1 Chronicles 29:12
WHO I AM AS A CHRISTIAN:
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes." - Romans 1:16
"The Spirit God gave me does not make me timid, but gives me power, love and self-discipline." - 2 Timothy 1:7
"I am to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one I am an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life." - 2 Corinthians 2:15-16
"I do not lose heart. Though my outer self is wasting away, my inner self is being renewed day by day. For my light and momentary troubles are achieving for me an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So I fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
"I live by faith and not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7
"I have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God." -
Mom’s hand over mine on her Bible.
Mom passed away on September 28, 2021. My Pastor did the service for her funeral. He said she made it easy for him as she lived a Flourishing life. The definition of Flourishing is 'marked by vigorous and healthy growth; very active and successful.' Yes, this was my Mom's life....her Spiritual life.
As 2 Corinthians 4:16 says, "Though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day." I had the great privilege of witnessing this in her. I will always cherish and hold dear what she has given to me.
She created in me the biggest drug problem I ever had.....she drug me to church every Sunday morning, every Sunday night, and every Wednesday night. I have come to realize this as the greatest, most special gift she could have ever given me.
Thanks Mom! Till I see you again!
Love You! You will be sorely missed!
